Biography of Andrew C. Wiktorowicz P.E.
Andrew Wiktorowicz is California Field Committee Chairman of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). California is the largest Field Committee supporting 60,000 Guards and Reservists in 1,800 Units with 15,000 employers.
Andy is also Executive Director of the Western Council of Construction Consumers, an association of large owners of plant and facilities engaged in construction in California, Arizona and Nevada.
Andy is a California registered engineer in two disciplines: Control Systems and Manufacturing Engineering. He has been a practicing engineer for 40 years, is a co-author of Instrument Engineers’ Handbook, and has lectured extensively on Control Systems Engineering.
As a consultant, he specialized in the implementation of innovative projects and rescuing troubled projects with creative technical and management solutions. His firm, Unigen has participated in over 50 such projects in the last 25 years from Hamburg to Singapore. Previous clients include Shell International, TRW, PPG, Mobil Oil, Southern California Gas, Hunt Wesson Foods, TWA and UOP. Industries served include Refining, Utilities, Food Processing and Distribution, and Transportation.
Andy has worked as a volunteer for over 40 years; recently as President of the Society of American Engineers & Architects (4 years) and was President of the Los Angeles Section and Vice President (Western Region) for International Society of Automation (ISA). He served the ISA for 24 years as a volunteer and has served Western Council on numerous committees for the last twenty-five years.
He is married with three grown children and has a B.S. in Physics from Illinois Institute of Technology.
