Military Friendly Colleges and Universities in California
The 2011 Military Friendly Schools List is put out by GI Jobs magazine, a leader in the world of military education and post-military employment, and honors the 15% of the country’s colleges and universities that do the most to welcome military veterans and enhance their experience as students. According to the magazine’s press release, the list takes into consideration state universities, private colleges, community colleges, and trade schools alike — “the common bond is their shared priority of recruiting students with military experience.”
